It is our sad duty to report that Warren W. Wirebach, family historian and founder of the modern Weyerbacher Family Reunion died on December 8, 2011 at the Middletown Manor, Middletown, PA at the age of 95 years, 6 months and 7 days. From his obituary:
Warren W. Wirebach, 95, of Middletown died Thursday night at the Middletown Manor.
He was the son of the late Warren E. and Olive Nothacker Wirebach. He had retired from State service as Personnel Director at South Mountain Restoration Center at South Mountain, PA and had been office Manager for Consolidated Cigar Corporation of West Pittston. He was the Librarian at The Historical Society of Dauphin County for 21 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church of Scranton and Post #27, American Legion, Harrisburg. For 36 years he was president of the Weyerbacher Family Reunion of Bucks County, of which he was the co founder.
There are no immediate survivors.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30am from the Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 W. Grove St. Clarks Summit, PA. Interment will be in Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla, PA
Friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.

On June 26, 2011, Warren became the oldest ever male Weyerbacher descendant, at age 95 years, 25 days, eclipsing the life of William Mann Weierbach (1845-1940).
